Immigrant Peer Educator Program
The Immigrant Peer Educator Program develops English-language communication skills and introduces participants to local resources and organizations so they can support their peers as they adapt to life in Canada. Once they've completed the program, participants are encouraged to volunteer with the organizations and services they've met and to get more involved. For details of next program visit Whistler Welcome Centre.
Parenting in Another Culture
Parenting in Another Culture supports newcomer and intercultural parents as they navigate parenthood in Canada, providing information on parenting in Canada (e.g. schooling, healthcare, language development) while preparing new intercultural parents to access other community-based parenting programs. For details of next program visit Whistler Welcome Centre.
